Terms and Conditions

Terms and Conditions

  1. These Terms and Conditions govern your relationship with us and all orders you may make. Please read them carefully as they may affect your rights and liabilities. If you do not agree to these Terms and Conditions, please do not order from us.

  2. These Terms and Conditions do not affect your statutory rights.

  3. Service

    1. Your submission of an order amounts to an offer to enter a contract to use, and pay for, our services.

    2. We will endeavour to warn you of any changes to our prices. However, we reserve the right to change our prices without notice.

    3. We reserve the right to refuse, amend, extend or cancel any special offer at any time.

    4. We reserve the right to refuse service to customers who are offensive or aggressive to either our colleagues, suppliers or other customers.

  4. Collection and delivery

    1. You are responsible for arranging your collection and delivery and giving us appropriate instructions.

    2. You must tie all bags to reduce the risk of items being lost in transit.  You must not overload laundry bags.

    3. You are responsible for separating colours and advising us if you would like separate washes. 

      1. We do not accept responsibility for any colour run/bleeding or shrinking.

      2. You must let us know if you have new items that may need a separate first wash.

    4. Soiled laundry (e.g. urine, faeces and blood) must be separated and labelled clearly. 

      1. We will refuse to process soiled laundry that has not been separated.

    5. You must separate damp items (e.g. towels) from other items to prevent other items becoming damp and prevent the growth of mould.

    6. We endeavour to keep agreed delivery days and times, but we reserve the right to change it and will tell you if we do so within a reasonable time.

    7. If we are late, for reasons beyond our control (e.g. adverse weather conditions, vehicle breakdown, traffic congestion or supplier failure), we cannot accept liability for any inconvenience or loss this causes.

    8. If your delivery is damaged or lost after being handed over to yourself or delegated person, we do not accept liability.

    9. If a scheduled collection is not required you must notify no later than the previous working day.

      1. We will charge a standard ‘missed collection fee’ is you fail to notify us a scheduled collection is not required or notify us on the day of the scheduled collection.

    10. We cannot provide long term storage for uncollected items. 

      1. If you are not able to collect your items as arranged you must contact us to arrange delivery and pay the delivery charge.

      2. Uncollected items will be donated to charity after 3 months.

    11. We reserve the right to refuse to accept orders from any customers.

  5. Quality

    1. We take every possible care taken when washing and ironing garments.

    2. All laundry will be processed on a standard wash and dry.

      1. We will not check labels on items unless you have advised us to. 

      2. We only check labels for professional cleaning.

      3. We will not accept responsibility for damage caused if the garment has no care label.

    3. You are responsible for separating the washing, and to highlight specific cleaning or ironing instructions for the care of the garments.

      1. We will not accept any liability for damage or shrinkage to garments if you fail to separate the garments correctly or fail to inform us of any specific or cleaning instructions.

    4. Lost or damaged items

      1. Domestic laundry collections will not be itemised.  We do not accept liability for lost items.

      2. It is your responsibility to check your order when you receive it.

      3. You must notify us of any items that may have been lost or damaged within 48 hours.

        1. We will not accept responsibility for any claims for lost or damaged items made after 48 hours of collection/delivery.

      4. You must notify us of any items that have not been cleaned or ironed to your satisfaction within 48 hours.

        1. We will offer discounts or refunds for quality issues only if we have been given the opportunity to view the issues first and then if rectification of the issues have failed.

    5. You are entitled to the value of any item(s) that may be damaged due to our negligence.

      1. You will be required to provide proof of purchase and the value of the item(s). 

      2. We reserve the right to refuse claims if proof cannot be provided.

    6. Drying

      1. All laundered items are dried in tumble dryers as standard.

      2. It is your responsibility to inform us if your order contains any items not suitable for tumble drying. Any such items should be placed in a separate bag and labelled accordingly.

      3. We will not accept responsibility for any shrinkage or damage caused by the tumble drying of garments if you have not followed the procedure outlined above.

    7. It is your responsibility to remove any items from the garments which may cause damage.

      1. We will not accept liability for damage caused by your failure to remove any items from the garments which may cause damage.

    8. It is your responsibility to remove any removable/loose items from garments, including pockets (e.g. shirt collar bones, cufflinks, brooches, belts, loose change etc).  Belts must be removed from bath robes.

      1. We do not accept responsibility or provide compensation for the loss or damage to any items that you have failed to remove before sending.

    9. Curtains

      1. It is your responsibility to remove all hooks, drapes or any other loose/removable items from the curtains before sending them to us.

      2. You must accept that all methods of curtain cleaning may cause shrinkage of up to 10%, which is unavoidable. 

      3. We do not accept responsibility for shrinkage within these parameters.

    10. Curtain blackout lining

      1. Some blackout linings fitted in curtains contain a rubberised backing that does not withstand the cleaning process, particularly if they have been exposed to sunlight for several years.

      2. The cleaning process may cause this rubberised backing to break down.  We do not accept responsibility for any damage caused to blackout linings by the cleaning process.

      3. Curtains lined with blackout linings are processed entirely at your own risk.

    11. Mattress and pillow protectors

      1. These are washed and tumble dried as standard. 

      2. We cannot accept them if they cannot be tumble dried.

    12. Stains and odours

      1. You must notify us of any stains and odours on garments.

      2. We will make every effort made to remove stains and odours from garments.  However, we cannot guarantee to remove all stains and odours.

      3. We will not accept any responsibility for the failure to remove stains and odours.

      4. If we are not able to remove stains or odours, you are still expected to make full payment for the service(s) we have provided.

      5. Re-washes?

    13. Leather items, buttons, buckles, beading, poppers and zips and any other type of decoration/fastening is processed entirely at your own risk.

      1. We will not accept responsibility for the damage of any such item(s).

  6. Payment terms

    1. We reserve the right to refuse to grant credit.

    2. We do not accept payment by cheque.

    3. You must raise any issues or queries regarding an invoice within 3 working days.

    4. All invoices must be paid within 30 days, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

    5. We reserve the right to refuse new orders from customers who have unpaid debt that exceed the agreed payment terms.

    6. We reserve the right to charge a standard ‘late payment fee’ for each overdue invoice.

    7. We reserve the right to demand immediate payment of any account whether due or not and to take legal action to recover the debt and costs.

    8. We reserve the right to use legal proceedings and debt recovery agencies to recover unpaid debt that exceed the payment terms.  You are liable for all costs incurred to recover outstanding debt.
